Level 1
Deals with providing students a safe environment in which to practice judo. Students are given proper lesson plans with safe and effective warm ups and exercises. Judo techniques are linked together and are provided in such a way that they are progressive and easy to learn.
Level 2
Deals with developing the student throughout the judo season. We will develop long term goals and teach judo strategy and tactics. The student will be developed technically, physically, and also psychologically. The end result will be a student that has learned techniques, is in better shape, and has the confidence and knowledge to be able to compete.
Level 3
Deals with coaching high performance athletes. Emphasis is placed on strength training and conditioning, as well as knowing the difference between anaerobic a-lactic, anaerobic lactic and aerobic, and providing lesson plans that specifically develop each energy system. For the high performance athlete, we will develop a training plan that takes into account competitive and non-competitive times of the season. Aerobic, anaerobic and strength training plans will be developed to get the athlete to peak for important competitions.
